Praktikum in der Rechtsinformatik? Madina hat es ausprobiert!
Zwei Monate lang erhielt die Saarbrücker Rechtsinformatik Unterstützung aus den USA: Madina Oraz absolvierte ein Praktikum am Lehrstuhl unseres Vorsitzenden Prof. Christoph Sorge. Madina studiert Mathematik und Legal Studies am renommierten Amherst College in Massachusetts und fand bei uns die perfekten Voraussetzungen, dieses Wissen interdisziplinär anwenden zu können.
Ein paar Eindrücke des Sommers in Saarbrücken:
“Summer research experience at the Institute of Legal Informatics introduced me to the whole new world where computer science and legal fields intersect. As a math and legal studies student who often gets asked “how are these two connected?,” I was fascinated to see how language processing essentially creates vector spaces from legal texts. I want to thank my research supervisor Bianca for her understanding and support and the chair for the opportunity to join their team and to participate in the Summer School for IT Law and Legal Informatics.”
